Austen is SVP of Engineering at Sonic Foundry. He leads the multi-disciplined engineering team responsible for development and quality control of Mediasite hardware and software. Starting as an intern while earning his BS degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Austen has had roles in IT, web development, operations and hardware engineering in his 15+ years at Sonic Foundry.

Bill Cherne has 20 years of experience in both the AV and digital media industry and in managing and deploying enterprise applications and infrastructure. He has worked with Fortune 500 enterprises including American Family Insurance, Ford Motor Company, Ford Treasury and Ernst & Young, administering server infrastructures and providing consultation and design services for major software applications. In 2006, Bill joined Sonic Foundry and now leads product management for all Mediasite Capture solutions as well as the Mediasite LMS integrations.
