After your server has been upgraded to Mediasite 8, all recorders should be upgraded to software version 8.x as soon as possible to ensure full functionality.

There are two places to determine what Recorders you have registered:

  • Customer Care Portal – the Customer Care Hardware page lists all of your registered Recorders and their current support status.
  • Management Portal – Within the Mediasite Management Portal, you can view a list of all of the Recorders connected to your Mediasite instance.

Scheduling will continue to function.

After upgrading your server to Mediasite 8, all Recorders should be upgraded to software version 8.x as soon as possible to ensure full functionality.
