For the past five years, Streaming Media Magazine has published the “Streaming Media 100,” a list of the most interesting, important and influential companies in video.
This year, the magazine focused exclusively on vendors in the online video space, companies that offer products, services and technologies that enable people to contribute to the unstoppable growth of multiplatform, multiscreen, multidevice video delivered via the internet.
Sonic Foundry is honored to be included on the list for the fifth consecutive year.
“Of all the companies delivering technologies and services in the streaming media industry, these are the 100 that our editorial team determined to be the most innovative, influential and important,” said Streaming Media editor Eric Schumacher-Rasmussen. “They show an industry reaching maturity, as OTT has become mainstream in the home and video is far and away the preferred method of messaging in the corporate, government and education sectors. The companies on this list are the ones fundamentally responsible for enabling the seismic shift in entertainment and the enterprise.”
Sonic Foundry believes that the most powerful video is that which transforms the vast amount of expertise and communicating that we’re doing every day, and delivers it far and wide. You can watch it when you want to, use it when you need it and find it when you have to have it.
