Sonic Foundry to Sponsor and Provide Streaming Services for UBTech, Annual Conference on Higher Education Technology Leadership, for 14th Consecutive Year

June 12, 2017

We’re excited to be the Titanium sponsor of UBTech 2017, and today we announced that the higher education technology conference will be streamed to an on-demand audience via Mediasite. We will also demo the latest enhancements to Mediasite Video Platform at booth 301.

“We are thrilled that Mediasite is streaming our conference for the 14th year in a row. Showcasing our sessions online has been critical in helping us reach new audiences, and sharing the knowledge and expertise of our speakers to anyone, regardless of whether they attended the conference, has been an asset to our business,” said Stephanie Martinez, COO of Professional Media Group, publisher of University Business and producer of UBTech.

Held in Orlando, Fla. June 12-14, UBTech highlights emerging trends in IT and AV technologies and its applications across campuses to improve institutional and student success. Each year UBTech brings together key campus leaders from hundreds of colleges and universities for a focused high-level conversation about technology innovation across every aspect of campus leadership and practice.

This is the 14th consecutive year Mediasite is delivering an interactive UBTech hybrid event. All keynotes will be live-streamed, and general and breakout sessions will be available on demand via Mediasite Showcase, an interactive video portal to curate, spotlight and view live and on-demand content. Showcase supports deep engagement by allowing users to build custom video playlists that are easily sharable with colleagues.

The public can register to watch UBTech’s live keynote speakers for free via Mediasite at https://ubtech.mediasite.com/mediasite/Showcase/ubtech17.

Elizabeth Collins, Sonic Foundry senior vice president, will moderate “Rapid Fire Panel: Academic Video’s Impact on Learning” featuring Mediasite users at 3:20 p.m. June 12 in Augusta A+B.
