We’re thrilled to announce our keynote speakers for Unleash17. The analysts at Wainhouse Research are famous for making annual predictions that get us thinking about everything from streaming to collaboration and everything in between. Now Alan Greenberg and Steve Vonder Haar are taking a shot at making consumer tech predictions for the enterprise. Alan D. Greenberg, senior analyst and partner, is an expert on Distance Education and e-Learning. He co-leads the Wainhouse Research Learning, Talent and Education (LTE) subscription, and contributes to the WR Personal and Web Conferencing, Streaming, and Group Videoconferencing subscription services. He also covers mobile conferencing and the suite of unified communications technologies as they are applied for education and learning. He has more than 25 years experience as consultant, analyst, communicator, and strategist.

He is author of numerous reports, surveys, forecasts, research notes, and profiles related to distance education and e-Learning, Learning Management Systems and Learning Relationship Management, ideation/brainstorming technologies, mobile video, virtual worlds, web conferencing, interactive whiteboards, and lecture capture. He also contributes to the Wainhouse Research Blog.

Alan has keynoted or presented at dozens of Wainhouse Research, USDLA, statewide distance educational association, Online Educa, ED‑NET, Blackboard World, ATD, and other educational and training events and conferences. He specializes in primary end user research, and is a Burke Institute-trained focus group moderator and interviewer.

Steve Vonder Haar is a senior analyst with Wainhouse Research, focusing on enterprise streaming & webcasting.

Steve has covered the technology industry for more than 20 years and, most recently, served as Research Director of Interactive Media Strategies – an analyst firm that tracked the market for enterprise streaming & webcasting. At Interactive Media Strategies, Steve authored more than 100 research reports and produced more than 150 Webcasts that addressed trends shaping the adoption of online audio and video in business communications.

Previously, Steve worked as Director of the Media and Entertainment Strategies for the Yankee Group, and worked as a technology industry reporter for a range of publications including Ziff-Davis’ Interactive Week, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and the Dallas Times-Herald. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri Columbia with dual degrees in Journalism and Economics. He also holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas-Arlington. Steve is located in Arlington, TX.
