Why Healthcare Orgs Not Using Video Are Missing the Boat

August 23, 2017

Healthcare is changing fast.

The heated debate about healthcare reform, the constant rollout of new technologies, pharmaceuticals and treatment programs and the shift towards digitization of patient records are all contributing to the rapid evolution. With all this comes a big need for new tools to improve healthcare skills training and patient care.

A new report by Wainhouse Research, Prescribing New Solutions for Communications in Healthcare, reveals that healthcare managers increasingly rely on streaming video for effective, just-in-time communication.

The authors, Alan D. Greenberg and Steve Vonder Haar, will release the report in conjunction with a live webinar at 1 p.m. Central on Aug. 24. They’ll take your questions live and provide tips for how to get from A to Z with video – in terms of technology and programmatic implementation. They’ll also share:

  • The key factors driving bigger investments in streaming video by healthcare organizations
  • Why organizations not using video are missing a big opportunity
  • Organizational benefits of telehealth, including everything from better patient care to reduced travel costs to a unified, distributed workforce
  • Five real-life examples featuring organizations that effectively use video to improve productivity and clinical care
