This week, Sonic Foundry celebrates its 10th annual Unleash Mediasite User Conference. This year’s conference is the largest to date, with more than 300 campus and enterprise video experts from around the world gathering in Madison, Wis. and online via Mediasite.
The hybrid conference, held at the landmark Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center, is the single best opportunity for Mediasite and video professionals to collaborate, learn, inspire and push the boundaries of campus and enterprise video. Of those on-site, 49 percent are attending Unleash for the first time, an all-time high. More than 60 international guests are attending in Madison and online.
Over three days, attendees will discover and share transformative ideas for their Mediasite deployments with more than 50 customer and company-led sessions.
Unleash 2016 will be streamed live via Mediasite to registered customers unable to attend in Madison. Online attendees can watch conference sessions in their Unleash Showcase, an interactive Mediasite-based online video portal. After the event, all attendees will have access to all recorded Unleash sessions.
Leon Huijbers of Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands has attended nine Unleash conference.
“Unleash is the best place to meet and connect with other like-minded video experts from all over the world and exchange ideas and best practices with each other. Plus, it’s a great chance to meet face-to-face with the engineers at Sonic Foundry who make the products I use every day at Technical University of Delft,” Huijbers said. “Over the years, I’ve developed lasting professional contacts from Unleash, and the conference is a must-attend event every spring. It’s a great way to keep up with all the changes in the enterprise video industry.”
The public can read what’s happening at Unleash via daily posts to Sonic Foundry’s blog, www.worldofwebcast.com, and real time updates via Twitter using #mediasite.
“Unleash gets bigger and better every year, and in our 10th year, we’ll have more friendly faces than ever joining us here in Madison and online,” said Rob Lipps, Executive VP, Sonic Foundry. “We’re thrilled to be spending this week with our customers to hear about their video strategies and their growing Mediasite deployments, as well as their visions for Mediasite’s future.”
